Steig Larsson, author of the Millenium triliogy that includes The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, died suddenly just after delivering his three manuscripts to a publisher. Check out this interesting CNN article about the late author, who apparently "left behind a trail of intrigue that rivals the dark thrillers he created." Read it here.
Hi Samantha! Sorry to add an unrelated comment to this post, but I wasn't sure how to contact you. No one else has laid claim to my copy of A Reliable Wife, so it is still up for grabs. If you could send me an e-mail with your contact info, then I can do some checking and see what I need to do to transfer this title from my Nook to yours..... Will you be watching "Wicked Summer" when it airs?
Quote of the Moment:
"I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free." --The Shawshank Redemption
